\nAt the intersection of art and fashion photography.<\/span><\/h3>\n

Based on the historical work of photographer Madame d’Ora, the exhibition “Mode Momente” at the Landesgalerie Linz presents works by Austrian women photographers who are at the interface of art and fashion photography. Based on internationally significant positions, the exhibition explores both the tension and the points of contact between commercial commissioned work in the context of the fashion industry and contemporary artistic practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition also deals with the construction of role models, gender issues and stereotypes in fashion photography, thereby also addressing questions of the social significance of photography and advertising in the field of contemporary fashion images.<\/p>\n

You can see works by Anna-Sophie Berger, Cooper & Gorfer, Marina Faust, Luise Hardegg, Caroline Heider, Jakob Lena Knebl, Elena Kristofor, Rita Nowak, Madame d’Ora, Elfie Semotan, Esther V\u00f6r\u00f6smarty and others.<\/p>\n
