\nWhat artistic research can and wants to be: The University of Applied Arts Vienna as a guest in Tokyo.<\/h3>\n

The exhibition “UNDERSTANDING – ART & RESEARCH” will be shown in Tokyo to mark the tenth anniversary of the relationship between the University of Applied Arts Vienna and the Tokyo University of the Arts.<\/p>\n

The exhibition focuses on the understanding of artistic research and as a consequence on perception and experience. With the aim of contributing to the transformation of society, the projects move between research and teaching, science and art, design and architecture.<\/p>\n

On display are twelve projects, artistic positions by Barbara Graf and the audio-visual documentation of all projects previously shown at UNDERSTANDING – ART & RESEARCH.<\/p>\n
