\nDancing between the surreal and reality.<\/h3>\n

In an open parcours, Bischof shows a new series of large-format paintings that lead into fantastic worlds, inspired by the real. Colour-intensive scenarios, in which human figures, animals, but also fantastic creatures are the protagonists, form the motifs of the artist’s paintings.<\/p>\n

Kamilla Bischof’s pictorial narratives are often supplemented in prose texts and staged in the exhibition space in scene-like installations. The current exhibition is also accompanied by a text from numerous scenes.<\/p>\n

Born in Graz, Kamilla Bischof lives and works in the art stronghold of Berlin. As a painter and writer she combines her talents in her works and adds a pictorially broken prose to contemporary painting and photography. SCH\u00d6N VERM\u00c4HLT is the most comprehensive solo exhibition to date of this important Austrian artist of the young generation.<\/p>\n
