The dragonfly has landed: the roof of the Leopold Museum is opened. From the 04. September you can visit the roof, a newly accessible cultural and living space of Vienna. The Dragonfly is the first large extension of the MQ area. On the roof there are permanent interventions by Brigitte Kowanz and Eva Schlegel. The work “veiled” by Eva Schlegel stretches over the glass facade of the MQ Dragonfly like a wafer-thin silk scarf. In the terrace area the installation “Lichtkreise” by Brigitte Kowanz creates an atmospheric ambience. In the context of the opening – from 01.09.2020 – a series of artistic events will take place.
