The Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrias University of Athens, in the framework of the 200th anniversary since the beginning of the Greek Wars of Independence in 1821 (1821-2021), is organizing an international conference entitled “With the Pen of Others. Aspects of Insurgent Greece in the 19th Century.”
The conference will take place from December 8-11, 2021 in a hybrid format – live and online – in cooperation with the Austrian Embassy Athens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lectures will be held in Greek, English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. Information on the conference program can be found at

For the literary discussion of the Greece of the Revolution, the Austrian Germanist Dr. M\u00fcller-Funk has been invited to the University of Athens, who will give the lecture online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
