Jordon Wolfson asks uncomfortable questions about the future at Kunsthaus Bregenz.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jordan Wolfson&#8217;s works deal with the social effects of digitization in a provocative and uncomfortable way. His works are located at the interface between real, virtual and imaginary space. Wolfson often relies on the psychological power of the uncanny and uses a wide variety of artistic forms: from sculptures, installations, video, photography, digital animations to performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The central themes of his work are violence, racism, sexuality, homophobia, anti-semitism, but in particular the effects of digital change on society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the exhibition at Kunsthaus Bregenz, Wolfson creates a near-realistic virtual world loaded with motifs and quotes from the gaming industry, internet clips and comic strips for the visitors. By the use of facial recognition software, the visitors become data prisoners themselves.
