Since its inception, the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK has become a defining part of the Viennese design landscape. The festival moves through the city from edition to edition. This year, the event will set up its tents in the sixth district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gabriel Roland, the director of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK, focuses on themes of ecological sustainability and digitization in this year\u2019s edition of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A program focus of this year\u2019s VIENNA DESIGN WEEK is dedicated to the topic \u201cExchange \u2013 Share \u2013 Act\u201d, which deals with social design concepts in the framework of social urban development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the group exhibition FOKUS, curated by Liv Vaisberg, free design research works are presented in expansive scenographies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the \u201cUrban Food & Design\u201d program series, selected food designers present concepts and solutions that focus on questions of circular economy in the food industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
