In Bildraum 01, for example, the variable spatial structure Grey Matter meets photographed figures that K\u00f6llerer has assembled from this very structure. For the Soliloquy series, he photographically stages painted frame pieces that are used in the room as frames for the resulting images. His own person or his hands are also sometimes involved in these settings.
