He incorporated the concept of the objet trouv\u00e9, the found object, into his avant-garde repertoire of forms. The work of the sculptor and textile artist Mara Uckunowa (1895-1987), who met and married Aub\u00f6ck at the Bauhaus in Weimar, is being presented for the first time.
