Artists from various countries come together for a fortnight for a high alpine art symposium as part of the 20th Biennal. In summer 2024, nine artists explored the given geomorphological situations, the themes of alpinism and cable car technology, the idiosyncratic atmosphere of the Nova Stoba mountain restaurant on the Versettla, which is largely closed in summer, as well as their personal experience of nature and the mountains. Since 1998, project manager Roland Haas has further developed the SilvrettAtelier Montafon as a recurring art symposium with an international exchange of artists and established it nationwide.
