The fragments depicted enter into dialogue sparingly and very sensitively, making the tension and change palpable. Klaus Wanker creates geometric forms on the coarse canvas that look like macro- or microcosms made from elements of nature. In his latest works, he quotes landscape depictions that are familiar to us, that we remember.
