The exhibition highlights the ruptures and continuities in Linz during the transition from a wartime to a post-war society, the end of the National Socialist dictatorship and the beginning of renewed democratisation. The central question is what significance history has for us today.<br>What came to an end, and what continues to have an impact on the present? Where and how does remembrance take place in Linz? Who is (not) remembered? The exhibition addresses these and other questions with a view to the social and political challenges in Linz after 1945.
