The light art project \u2018Crystalline\u2019 by Vorarlberg artist Sofia Hagen was awarded the \u2018un Design Award\u2019 \u2013 an international prize that honours creative excellence, visionary thinking and sustainable design. First shown at \u201cSpotlight\u201d in 2024, the work will be presented again at this year&#8217;s \u2018Lichtstadt Feldkirch\u2019. At the centre of the artwork is a 2.7-metre-high glowing salt crystal, accompanied by smaller crystals \u2013 all made from recycled medical plastic waste using state-of-the-art 3D printing technology.
