As a backdrop, independent motif and expression of the connection between humans and nature, landscape played a decisive role in his work and accompanied him until the end of his life. The exhibition, curated by Arnika Groenewald-Schmidt, traces Waldm\u00fcller&#8217;s engagement with the landscape in the Vienna Prater, the Salzkammergut, Italy and the Vienna Woods.
