The exhibition focuses on coins and medals in which lilies, roses, alpine flowers, palm trees and laurel wreaths are key design elements. The coins on display featuring floral motifs originate not only from Europe, but also from the Americas, Asia and Oceania. The exhibition offers a broad perspective on the fascinating diversity of the world of money. Furthermore, the exhibition features a section in which the coins and banknotes are grouped thematically \u2013 ranging from the construction of national identities through uniqueness to independence.
