The artist Donya Aalipour, who was born and raised in Iran, presents paintings as well as a video installation for the first time. The starting point is documentary footage from Iran showing people dancing at funerals \u2013 gestures that take shape within a repressive system whilst simultaneously eluding its control.<br>In her exploration of human existence and potential spheres of action, K\u00e4the Sch\u00f6nle presents a perspective oriented towards the future. In dialogue, both positions open up a field of tension between immediate gesture and speculative design.
