In the construction sector, timber construction is at the forefront when it comes to making architecture and the construction industry more sustainable. Wood is often hailed as the key to the construction revolution, thanks to its ability to store carbon and its status as a renewable building material. However, simply \u2018building with wood\u2019 is not enough to ensure sustainability. The exhibition \u2018Timber Construction Architecture with PEOPLE. PLACE. HOUSE. MIND.\u2019 uses selected projects to highlight the social, architectural, spatial and structural qualities that make a timber building fit for the future. Following its inaugural presentation at the kunsthaus muerz, the exhibition at the HDA \u2013 Haus der Architektur focuses on international projects and supplements these with current research from Graz University of Technology. In doing so, it opens up different perspectives on building with timber and serves as a starting point for discourse on the future of construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Timber Construction Architecture with PEOPLE.
