It is dedicated to the volcanic origins of the Azores. The festival combines the forces of nature with musical creativity and explores the themes of creation, energy and transformation. Now in its eighth year, the event once again brings renowned international musicians to the island of Terceira. The varied programme of concerts and masterclasses places particular emphasis on integrating the local music scene. One of the highlights is the participation of the Austrian-Ukrainian pianist Anna Ulaieva.
