She focuses on healing deep-seated psychological wounds: transgenerational traumas within the collective fabric, arising from experiences of violence that continue to be endured today by indigenous populations, women in patriarchal systems and victims of authoritarian regimes. This perspective is informed by decades of research into transgenerational trauma, as it is embedded both in her family history and in the collective fabric of society. Her parents lived through the Nazi era and the Franco dictatorship.
