The theme of the prize was “Im Augenblick gefangen / Capturing the Moment”. The Austrian Cultural Forum London established the prize in 2018 following the death of Wolf Suschitzky (1912-2016). Given the dual nature of Suschitzky’s identity, the prize is aimed at photographers living in the UK or Austria. The prize was awarded by a jury of experts from Austria and the UK.
The exhibition of the “Wolf Suschitzky Photography Prize 2023” shows works by the two winners Moira Lovell (GB) and Olivia Coeln (A) and 4 shortlisted artists from each country.
