The young artist Stefan Glas paints with great intensity, passion and vigour. In his paintings, he creates unreal creatures, stylised animals, strange heroes and fabulous monsters in intense colours. The artist prefers to paint in bold, broken colours on large canvases. His depictions are often stylised and schematic, with little detail. The figures are at the centre, the background is usually only hinted at. Despite the reduction, his works are full of emotion and expressiveness.
