The exhibition Käthe Schönle: FOCUS / a place beyond the NOW shows new works on canvas, drawings and collages that offer a glimpse of a future beyond dystopia and destruction. They are both powerful and poetic, and plead for a more confident version of living together. In dialogue with the works of Käthe Schönle, new works by Stylianos Schicho will be on display. These works, created with charcoal and acrylic on canvas, thematise the need for belonging, but also for demarcation. They highlight the fragility of social constructs and encourage us to question our own point of view and adopt a new perspective.
