The 22nd edition of the Begehungen art festival is taking place in the decommissioned Chemnitz-Nord cogeneration plant. Entitled EVERYTHING IS INTERACTION, the exhibition brings together 32 international artistic positions that address ecological crises, social inequalities and global power relations. Curated by Claudia Tittel, the festival is part of the official programme of the European Capital of Culture, Chemnitz 2025. One highlight: the media artwork GT Granturismo by Austrian artists Günther and Loredana Selichar, which deals with media-critical issues with visually stunning precision. Other artistic positions from Austria come from Abie Franklin & Daniel Hölzl, Katharina Sauermann and Anna Weberberger.
