The ‘Birds’ exhibition sheds light on the fascinating world of birds in a special symbiosis of art, nature and history. The historical backdrop of the museum pavilion, which once served as an aviary, provides the ideal setting for focussing on the complex relationship between humans and birds. In this staging, the pavilion becomes a lively place where the theme of birds can be experienced from cultural-historical, biological and artistic perspectives.
