In its current edition, PARALLEL Vienna 2025 is exploring the historically charged site of the Otto Wagner Areal for the third time. The central Art Nouveau theatre will continue to serve as the entrance, but the exhibition grounds will be given a new structure. The sculpture garden moves from the meadow to the large theatre hall. The kitchen, previously known as the art fair’s party location, this time shows its potential as an exhibition space. Together with the theatre, the kitchen and pavilions 7 and 13, the PARALLEL Vienna site forms a quadrangle in which over 100 exhibitors engage in an interim use with predetermined, highly individual spaces: Gallery Statements, Artist Statements, Project Statements, Coop Statements, Interventions, Institutions, Special Exhibitions.
