Autumn is alpenarte season; every year, the festival invites visitors to enjoy musical delights, bringing together the most talented young musicians from the national and international scene. Artistic director Matthias Honeck remains true to his successful concept of bringing international and regional classical music talents to the fore. This is complemented by music education, visual arts and culinary delights. This time, the ‘special’ event outside the main venue in the Bregenzerwald will take place in the Alte Hallenbad in Feldkirch. Performing artists include Miriam Kutrowatz and V.Töne. There will be a world premiere on Saturday: the Amelio Trio will perform the commissioned work by :alpenarte by Tsotne Zedginidze. In addition, compositions by Mozart, Brahms and Johann Strauss Jr. will be performed, as well as a jazz/pop/classical crossover (in the case of the Hanke Brothers).
