In August 2024, nine international artists from Germany, the USA, Poland, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland met in the high alpine terrain of Silvretta Montafon. For two weeks, they transformed the Nova Stoba mountain restaurant at an altitude of over 2,000 metres into their studios and explored the special conditions of the high alpine scenery. The result is a diverse spectrum of contemporary art – from painting, drawing and photography to sculpture and object art, conceptual art, land art and video works.
Around a year after the high alpine art symposium ‘SilvrettAtelier Montafon 2024’, a selection of the works created in the Silvretta Montafon are returning to the valley. The exhibition showcases an exciting variety of forms of expression and themes.
