Under the title Fugazi, Elektrohalle Rhomberg presents Ester Parasková’s first solo exhibition featuring brand-new works. Ester Parasková’s artistic practice explores the dynamic tension between spontaneous expression and meticulous precision. Her paintings are characterised by bold gestures, organic forms and a conscious use of colour. In thematically diverse series, she portrays reality not as criticism, but as an unadulterated, raw reflection. Parasková’s creative process is strongly influenced by the environment of her studio, where traces of dust, footprints and pigments become an organic part of the canvas. In this way, the act of painting merges with its physical environment. She harmonises the unpredictability of expressive brushstrokes with the precision of complex drawings, creating a dialogue between chaos and control. At the heart of her work is the concept of labour, shaped by her early experiences in an automobile factory.
