In various material transformations between video projection, photographic staging, drawing and object, the adaptation of humans to the conditions and requirements of the technologies they generate and use is thematised and transformed by artistic means. Geometric, technical-functional construction drawings are the starting point for various series of works. The graphic representations become a playing field and metaphorical space for human action. Humans appear in various roles, as homo creator – a being that creates order and structure and is interwoven with its own creation – or as an algorithmically dismantled, mechanised object inserted into the sequence of programmes and controlled by external forces. Efficiency and functionality are taken to absurd extremes, deconstructed and ironically questioned. In a process of fragmentation, dissolution, reorganisation and superimposition of images, new connections in terms of content are created.
