In November, everything in Graz revolves around the latest outdoor films. Festival director Hans-Robert Schauer presents the international film competition for the ‘Grand Prix Graz’ and a brand-new film award. This year, the festival once again presents an extensive film programme featuring sporting action, alpine adventures and visually stunning nature documentaries. The supporting programme is also exciting: Swiss adventurer and photographer Thomas Ulrich brings stories from the North Pole and other remote places in the world to the Steiermarksaal with his multi-vision lecture ‘Horizont Nord’ (Horizon North). And six-time world climbing champion Jakob Schubert from Austria will be a guest with a film and stage talk. With climbing, skiing and surfing adventures, exciting nature documentaries and films about life in other countries, the five days of the Mountainfilm Graz 2025 festival will be a fantastic adventure trip around the world.
