The Month of Photography festival is the oldest nationally and internationally recognised festival in Slovakia. The 35th Month of Photography will feature Austrian photographer Reiner Riedler, one of Austria’s most internationally successful contemporary photographers. His exhibition ‘This Side of Paradise’ will be presented in the gallery of the Cultural Forum. For this series, Riedler spent more than 20 years portraying people who indulge in the excessive excesses of modern event culture at alibi-traditional Krampus parades, beer festivals or erotic fairs. Riedler’s documentary film ‘Die guten Jahre’ (The Good Years) will also be shown as part of the exhibition opening.
