The ‘Linzer Kunstsalon’ has established itself as an annual meeting place for collectors, artists and art lovers from all over Upper Austria and beyond. This year, OÖ Landes-Kultur GmbH invites you to the Kunstsalon in newly adapted, spacious premises in the historic ambience of Linz Castle. Seventeen contemporary Upper Austrian galleries and art associations, as well as one guest, will present their programmes and selected contemporary artistic positions. With its wide range of artistic approaches from painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, new media and installation, the Kunstsalon offers the opportunity to get to know the current art scene in all its diversity, discover new works and enter into dialogue with artists. Students from the class for plastic concepts and ceramics at the Linz University of Art, led by Frank Louis, are guests at the Linz Kunstsalon for the first time.
