Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore are the venues for the European Film Festival Pakistan. The Austrian contribution comprises three short films: ‘Habā’ by Helin Çelik, ‘White Ribbons’ by Michael Heindl and ‘Diamond & Narcissus’ by Barbara Wolfram. In addition to films from European countries, the festival, initiated by the EU Delegation to Pakistan, offers readings, music performances and interactive and child-friendly formats. Thematic focuses include gender, climate change, resilience and empowerment.
