The first exhibition in 2026 is dedicated to Italian video artist and photographer Matteo Trevisan. ‘We are still dreaming’ is a visual exploration of the community of under-30s living in the Susa Valley, one of Italy’s wildest Alpine valleys. This area holds the record as the most militarised zone in the country and as the scene of the longest protest movement Italy has ever seen: the No-Tav movement. The No-Tav movement, which emerged in the early 1990s, has set itself the goal of preventing the construction of the Turin-Lyon high-speed railway line, which it considers a waste of public funds and harmful to the area. In over 30 years of work, not even one metre of the planned 7 km of tunnels intended for the trains has been built. With the project ‘We are still dreaming’, Matteo Trevisan has decided to use portraits and a collection of their statements to tell the story, in diary form, of this new generation of young people who have never known a life without struggles, charges, arrests and protests.
