Master and Apprentice focuses on the Lithuanian design scene from a cross-generational perspective. Through fashion, product, graphic and interior design, it highlights creative positions and personalities that have shaped the development of several generations over the decades. Design is presented as a multi-layered process characterised by exchange, mentoring and the passing on of experience. Instead of focusing on finished results, Master and Apprentice traces the hidden stories of design: networks of collaboration, influence and learning that shape creative practice and form the identity of designers.
