For four weeks, imagetanz presents new choreography and performance works by international and local artists and collectives. At brut nordwest, studio brut, WUK and Bears in the Park Art Place, the festival offers a diverse programme of world premieres, workshops, get-togethers and much more. At the opening, the LIFT dance collective (Liv Schellander, Irene Giró, Fia/Sophia Neises, Tanja Erhart) will explore non-linear biographies beyond normative ideas in BIOFUCK, bringing alternative, queer and crip life stories to life in a multisensory experience. imagetanz will kick off with How to festival? – a pre-gathering as part of brut barrierefrei. With Taking the time, Elena Lach, Ema Benčíková & LIFT Tanzkollektiv invite you to an open relaxation room. The BUZZING around format addresses neurodivergent, blind and visually impaired people with a multisensory experience consisting of a scent buffet and tactile tour, and Closing Cocktail offers the opportunity to share festival experiences. At Handle with care, this year’s Huggy Bears artists will show the first excerpts from their rehearsal processes. Together with Selin Baran, brut invites you to the community event marhaba, and the festival will conclude with a DJ set by Yinna.
