The exhibition focuses on the figure of the gatekeeper. Historically embodied by the bouncer outside a club, this figure acts as a living filter: a human interface that often makes opaque decisions about who belongs and who does not. Today, the same logic extends to digital environments. We log in, verify, confirm, pass tests, accept cookies, prove that we are not robots, prove that we are real, prove that we deserve access. Berger positions these two orders – the physical and the computational – not as separate spheres, but as overlapping expressions of the same structure: access as performance. The exhibition takes the form of an architectural intervention that transforms the studio into a narrow corridor clad in black latex.
