Based on the nine-month participatory project ‘Ageing Stories – Exploring Living and Life Together’, the exhibition highlights how people live, feel and are perceived in times of demographic change, and provides insights into their needs. In workshops, storytelling cafés, discussions and lectures, a wide range of perspectives on the topics of age(ing), life and living were developed together with cooperation partners. The focus is not only on different forms of living, but also on the stories of the people involved in the project. Objects, texts and contributions also address movement and mobility, communication, emotional aspects and different forms of age discrimination, thereby making individual experiences tangible. As a whole, the exhibition sees itself as an open space for thought and experience that highlights the complexity of the topic of ageing and encourages dialogue about the diverse forms of housing and living in old age.
