With the exhibition ECHT:MENSCH II, Mila Veljac’a and Andrea Maria Bauer continue their joint artistic exploration. Following their first exhibition at Galerie 9und20, the dialogue is deepened and continued at Villa Claudia. Both artists work figuratively and process-oriented, questioning social attributions as well as the demand for perfection. In painting, sculpture and text fragments, they address #doubt, ruptures, transformation and the conscious acceptance of incompleteness. ECHT:MENSCH II sees itself as an invitation to an authentic encounter – with art, space and one’s own humanity. The focus is on tension, difference and honesty rather than smooth harmony.
