Stefan Zweig (1881–1942) remains one of the most widely read German-language authors to this day. Numerous translations and adaptations, from Europe to China, attest to the enduring appeal of his works. This travelling exhibition presents Zweig as a bestselling author who was not without his critics, as a tireless traveller, and as a citizen of the world with a pacifist mission. Following successful presentations of the travelling exhibition “Stefan Zweig. World Author” to mark the opening of the Austrian Library in Split, at the 15th Austrian Culture Days in Osijek and at the Austrian Cultural Forum in Zagreb in 2025, the travelling exhibition will be held at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb.
