Once again, the cream of the European brass band scene is making a guest appearance at the Bruckneraus in Linz. Around 1,000 musicians from across Europe are turning the city into an international hub for the brass band scene over the coming days. 36 renowned brass bands will be competing in top-class competitions and performing in accompanying concerts. The programme is complemented by the 10th European Soloist Competition, featuring outstanding soloists, and by the European Youth Brass Band, which brings together top young musicians from across Europe. Additional events such as the Brass Mile and numerous concerts throughout the country extend the festival beyond the Brucknerhaus and anchor the EBBC 2026 in the cultural life of Upper Austria.
