The exhibition “Atleast 4 Hugs a Day, atleast at 30 Seconds Each”, a collaboration between Iris Dittler and Maja Spasova, combines contemporary visual art with highly topical social issues. The project opens up a lasting dialogue on central aspects of human existence such as closeness, touch, connection and intimacy. In a world increasingly shaped by digital interactions, this exhibition brings the human body and physical interaction back into focus. Touch is addressed not only as a sensory experience, but as a fundamental prerequisite of human existence. Through photographs, drawings, installation works and performative interventions, the phenomenology of touching and being touched is explored. Central themes of the works are longing, love, loneliness and interpersonal connection.
