The Montafon-based artist Roland Haas presents an almost unimaginable body of watercolour work: since the early 1980s, he has produced well over a thousand paintings, most of them painted en plein air and on location, from Spitsbergen to the Algerian Sahara, from Greenland to Antarctica, from Nepal to New Zealand – and, of course, Central Europe. The exhibition at the Bildungshaus Batschuns now offers, for the first time, an overview of his artistic output, showcasing key works from all periods and many of his travels – a total of 170 watercolours. As part of the exhibition, the new illustrated book *Strichweise Schneeschauer – Aquarelle aus fünf Jahrzehnten von Roland Haas* (Snow Showers in Strokes – Watercolours from Five Decades by Roland Haas) will be presented.
