Great cinematic art for small cineasts!
From 23 November to 1 December, the Children’s Film Festival brings twelve extraordinary and internationally awarded films for children aged 4 to 16 to Styrian cinemas. The festival presents extraordinary and outstanding children’s films from various countries around the world. Cineasts from 4 years of age get to know people with an exciting variety of culturally determined life situations.
For example, ten of the twelve films are in their original version with the German version as voice-over (and are spoken in German live in the cinema). This raises awareness of foreign languages and cultures and at the same time shows that not every film is “automatically” in German.
Whether from Scandinavia, Brazil, India, Poland, the USA, Latvia, Estonia, France or Croatia – the festival’s films show the diversity of the medium, deal with a wide variety of everyday topics in different corners of the world and have already been awarded at various international film festivals.
