At Mumok in Vienna, a collection of around 30 works by the Austrian-American architect, artist, stage designer, designer and theorist Friedrich Kiesler will be on display until December 2020.
One of the main works, Kiesler’s Endless House (1950), is now exhibited in the mumok – supplemented by a number of other works. The “Endless House” is an exemplary work within the work and theory of Friedrich Kiesler. The outstanding feature of the Endless House is the space in a continuous flow: the structure of this extraordinary architectural model is irregular and spherical.
