The exhibition on Eugenie Kain’s work brings together texts and objects relating to the five books published during her lifetime. However, bequest materials as well as unpublished texts are also on display, and this is where her leitmotifs come to the fore: her works are about walking, hiking, and traveling – but also about working worlds and poetics, which can be traced primarily through sketches in her notebooks.
