Kunsthalle Wien presents a group exhibition entitled “Cybernetics of the poor”. The exhibition takes a look at the relationship between art and cybernetics and their historical and contemporary points of intersection. Cybernetics is a term that has been circulating since the 1940s and stands for self-regulating systems. Initially the term was only relevant in administration, and planning, in digital capitalism cybernetics has established itself as an economic factor (Big Data).

On view are works by Robert Adrian X, Agency, Ana de Almeida, Coleman Collins, Salvador Dali & Philippe Halsman, Sharon Lockhart, Mario Navarro, Lili Reynaud-Dewar, Constanze Ruhm, Tanja Widmann, Oswald Wiener, among others.
