Marlies Pöschl, winner of the Förderpreis des Landes Salzburg 2019, shows new works at the Salzburger Kunstverein. Les Maintenants is the name of a fictional company in Marlies Pöschl’s film Aurore that develops empathic robots. At the same time, the title of this exhibition means the plural of “now” (maintenant) – a constantly repeated, eternal present. It is about pausing, formulating an alternative temporality that questions habitual rhythms and transcends standardized time zones.
