The exhibition “Viral Cartoons” starts at the Galerie der Komischen Künste at the MQ in Vienna. Since laughter is known to provide levity, the exhibition focuses on comedy in the face of the pandemic triggered by the coronavirus and its consequences. “Floating and lighthearted like little aerosols at an illegal parking lot party,” it says. On display are paintings and drawings by Daniel Jokesch, Greser & Lenz, Katharina Greve, Martin Zak, Miriam Wurster, Uwe Krumbiegel and many more. Admission to the exhibition is free.
