Shadows, gaps, voids is Isa Rosenberger’s most comprehensive solo exhibition to date and, alongside older works, shows a new production in co-production with the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation.
Together they form the content-visual-spatial framework of the exhibition scenography. The exhibition space becomes a stage for a staging in various scenes and thereby becomes a scenery itself.
With her filmic-installation works, Rosenberger often searches for traces in order to give space and visibility to the hidden, repressed and forgotten, mostly in feminist women’s history.
